So today Sunday is the last day of rifle season in NY. Yesterday wuz unbelievable. We saw 21 deer between the 2 of us including 5 bucks. I saw one spike with 2 in antlers, pal saw 4 best being a 6 basket rack. Today any buck is fair game except for one with 2 in antlers. Tomorrow muzzeloader opens and runs for about 10 days with only 1 weekend available to hunt. Weather permitting I’ll be back here for that. Muzzeloader is buck or doe where rifle is bucks only so of course no does will show their faces. First light 6:47 so I best get goin. Next txt from the saddle!

Nuttin for quite awhile gonna get down at 11 button up camp for the 5 hr ride home. Next weekend brown is down with the smokepole.
