POST YOUR BEST BUCK EVER 4 EVERYONE 2 C
15 years old, feels like yesterday.
It isn’t the one in the middle . Lol
Just saw your trophy pic. Nice deer! Glad to see I’m not the only young hunter on here
PrimeTime86. I have seen Ohiohunter post this buck and the story before. Wild deer. And he has killed a few more big ones. Nice bucks guys. Congrats to all! Hunt
Primetime86.........Just curios. On a scale of 1-10, where would you rate Eva Shockey?
Jeeeeez!!
Ah yeah that’s the pic where Ohio is ecstatic lol
Lol @t-roy. Man there are some good inside jokes on this site
Ok no one else needs to post ant deer after Ohio hunter.. close the thread pat
I’m thinking JSW might have a thing or two to say about that, Shug! ;-)
I don't see bucks this large much anymore. I'm fortunate to have gotten this one. Usually it's the wife that beats me to them.
Ohiohunter, I think I like you better as a brunette...
;-)
Ohio......That doo looks kinda like the white boy version of Kid N Play! ;-)
Great buck, BTW!
Ohiohunter, you have the Jerry Lee Lewis look going on there! Can you play the piano ? :-)
It’ll be hard to beat Ohiohunters buck and impossible to beat his hair!

WOW! Some top of the food chain bucks killed by you guys....I'd pay $7K if my hair could look like Ohio's.......
Robear, Great buck! Please tell me more about that hit...
Best buck with one of my very best friends.

ki-ke Thanks for the compliment. A whole bunch of "deer of a lifetimes" on this thread. As to your question about the shot, I was in a stand on a bit of side hill. I grunted this deer in across a fairly good sized bottom. He stopped about 10 yds from me on the downhill side, head on looking under and past me for the deer he though he had heard. When he turned to leave, after a couple excruciating minutes, I stopped him with a bleat. He was quartered away, and with the bank he was on, the angle was pretty steep. I hit him about midway up the body. He ran back into the bottom and I watched him go down about 100yds away. The post mortem showed the arrow had centered the heart. The exit clipped the off side leg as you saw in the photo. It was a good day.

Shot just a couple weeks ago. Not quite my biggest archery, but my biggest with the longbow.
Man some real impressive bucks on here. This was actually believe it or not my first buck with a compound. I wasn’t new to hunting in general however and knew exactly what caliber of buck I was chasing. Many sleepless nights thinking about him, and actually remember even feeling sick the night before opening day LOL! Man I’d love to chase another in that category. 205 gross and 196 net

Hey Pat, wasn't your Saskatchewan buck bigger?
Barry Wensel was on site this evening, would luv to see his biggest...
At first I thought I thought Primetime 86 was referring to the tiny white picket fence in the background of Ohio's first pic... After his last post, I think he was just being a jealous Dbag. Too bad because the first joke was actually kind of funny.
Very impressive bucks guy's, some giants for sure.
Lost field photos to electronics.
Holy big bucks Batman!! That's a lot of bone from a lot of different places!
But after seeing Ohiohunter's grip'n grin hair do, I will never be able to take him seriously again. Even with that giant buck!
biggest buck and second biggest cat
M.Pauls and TJF great bucks! Holy moly!
Unbelievable bucks everyone
Shot with my bow during WI gun season. 15 yd shot. From the ground without a blind.
Some great deer here fellas, nice thread.
My best group. Every one is a memory. 6 are in the book
Still waiting to see Primetime's best buck.... might be a long wait?
This is the biggest one I've managed to run an arrow through. He grossed 141" and had the biggest body of any deer I ever taken.
And for biggest racks, these 2 were within an inch or 2 of each other grossing in the mid 150s.
All of mine seem like babies though compared to all of these other 170-200 class bucks. Maybe one of these days. Congrats to all!
There are so many great bucks here but if it comes down to a posing contest I think the top three have to be mattanderson, ohio hunter, and montnatom. :)
Wow bunch of Spook Magnums on here. Very nice bucks guys! Here's my "Mediocre Deer Tour" pic, coming back from taxidermy. Look out Eastmans' lol
Jaq's Mule Deer gets my vote. And 12Yards MN Monster! Only thing better would be a picture of that hog hanging out of a canoe coming out of a MN swamp. That's on my bucket list, came close a couple times.

Cool thread even though hunting is about so much more than the size of the deer! 2011 186" gross NT, Illinois. Rattled in to 5 yards; first afternoon of a 10 day Rut-cation.
Some studs in this thread!
Paul what’s the story behind that deer?
cannot find one of him on the ground or a hero pic. Excuse the ugly guy!(me) I killed 2 bucks both with similar racks from the same tree in Kansas. He has over 47"s of mass measurements. Shawn
Shawn, what are mass measurements? Just the circumferences?
Eastern Colorado bow kill . Spot and stalk unit 103. Just the body with no head, no guts, no legs 202 lbs . Minus 18 deg in a blizzard , but happy I stayed after him.

RockyD Counting everything, he went 173 4/8s. Netted 164. For a mature buck, he wasn't a big bodied buck and dressed out around 185 lbs.
TJF that's a beautiful buck no matter the score. I would of pegged him bigger but who cares. Love the split G2 and the dark horns. Just a great frame. What state? Congrats!
Shawn I was waiting for that pic. That pic is infamous on the KS forum. Sure did get some of the KS forum regular's panties in a bunch. LOL.

These are my 2 biggest - both Wisconsin deer.
OK, maybe not my best scoring mule deer, but most memorable.
This was a really cool old buck.
Had a little history with this buck. Shot at him in his bed in the willows two years earlier - deflected and cut his backstrap.
The year I shot him I was hunting solo. Climbed up from 11,000 over a 13,000 saddle and spotted him bedded at about 12,500 on an open slope. Was able to drop down and slip in and get in range for a good shot with my longbow.
Had him packed back to the truck before dark!
I’m not much of a big buck hunter. More of a meat hunter. 1998.
Chris, that is an excellent buck, especially in MI! Congrats.
Sorry, yes circumferences, 7.5 around one base and 8"s around other. Shawn

Biggest mule deer. Friendships make the trip.
Not my biggest scoring, but my favorite looking.
Shawn.... so with bases that big by the 47" total mass you stated, the remaining 6 H's were 5-1/4" (avg) each. If so that picture does him no justice.
Phenomenal bucks everyone!

I have shot nubbins-10 pt. All were special to me.
Each have their own story to go with the success. The nubbins buck whose heart became a physiology project in college( I got an A); the unicorn I thought was a doe-harvested just minutes before a early season snowstorm struck; a few spikes that tasted really, really good; the 3 pt I shot after hip surgery when I thought would never be able climb a tree again; the forkhorn I shot at almost point blank range from my knees as he walked right up to me; the 5 pt. shot with a recurve (my first) the year my Dad died; the 6 pt gracing my shed-plus the other two(my dog enjoyed their antlers); the 7 pt. shot with a recurve when I was hunting with my brother and he called it in; 8pt. shot at 40+ yards by threading the needle on two massive oaks growing side by side; the 9 pt. who crossed a creek after I shot him leaving a minimal blood trail; the 10 point I shot following a fake scent trail I laid out leading to my tree... My best is still out there somewhere..as I haven't quit hunting
Not my biggest rack but my heaviest deer at 255 pounds field dressed.
Ahh, primetime. Quick to call down other’s ethics , but takes the desperate-to-kill-something seventy two yard shot. Too easy to get closer??
72 yards is a chip shot but you cant kill anything besides buttons? Why not just shoot a doe and let the baby bucks go so the grownups can hunt them in a few years?
Dude, seriously, shoot whatever you want thats legal but don't blame your lack of success on not hunting food plots or bait. Seems like it's more about lack of skill if you have to take 72 yard shots. I'll wager that most of the "best bucks" on this thread weren't shot over bait or food plots. Now, tell us you hunt only on the ground, with a stickbow, and you may have a tiny bit more cred. But not much.
Cool picture, Cheesehead! Classic! Love those big ‘ol northern bucks!
Figured I would add my favorite whitetail. Spotted him about a mile out in Kansas and slipped in to 20 yards, got pegged by a doe while he was coming down the creek bottom. He locked up and thought I was busted till he took two more steps towards the doe and left me a hole to shoot through. Had a massive body on him and would have been cool to know what he weighed but I broke him down and packed him out like I do in the mountains. He was spectacular eating, too!
Cheesehead......is that the “before” pic of your heaviest buck on this 10 year challenge thing going on right now?!
Thanks Tavis, that's an awesome Kansas buck you got there.
t-roy, yes except it was 18 years ago. One of my best friends from high school had just been killed in a car deer accident, leaving his wife and 5 kids behind. I was sitting in my tree stand the day before what would have been his 40th birthday, thinking about him and I vowed to get even with a couple deer for him that year. Seconds later I heard the buck heading my way.
A few weeks later I killed this one during gun season. I guess I kept my word...
Sometimes its better to keep your mouth shut and, have people think your a fool, than to open it and, remove all doubt.
Heck of a buck Mike!! Congrats. >>>———>
Primetime, it would be a shame for all your “pearls of wisdom” to be confined to one thread that isn’t dedicated to yourself. Maybe you could start your own thread, teaching and instructing us how to pass on 6 year old stud whitetails, waiting till they are 9 years of age and ‘over the hill’ both figuratively and in reality at 70+ yards
MPauls.....I’m thinking “pearls” as well, but more in the lines of “pearls before swine” context.
Guys, I'm sure you realize that primetime is just a troll jerking our chains to try to get a reaction. Nobody could be that stupid...
Primetime, it's possible you're a nice guy and you're just woefully under gunned while trying to find your place. Maybe just wait a week, re-register under a new name and don't be such an immature dink.
Shot him at 12 yards while I was sitting behind a root ball in 2017 with my RER Arroyo static recurve 50#@28"!
Nice buck, Keefers! Neat picture as well.
Thanks T-Roy here is a picture of the top looking at his Palmations!
Thats a crazy buck! Wondering how that would be scored? Did you have him measured? Congrats and thanks for sharing that!
Way cool buck there Keefers! Love the palmation!
He looks a lot better rotated, 3under!
Jaquomo and Treeline thanks for the comments but I never had him scored .He is at the taxidermist now . I actually never scored any of my bucks just never got into the scoring thing. I just enjoyed the morning hunt watching as he came in and being able to watch a Deer his size walking so slowly quartering in towards me at 7 yards then turning and finally coming to a stop at just about 12 yards offering a broadside shot. A morning I will cherish all my life and Blessed to be the chosen one to have taken him.
Hahahaa... yes he does treeline.
Love the palmation. Wouldn’t be surprised if there’s 50” or more, of palmation there.
2017 high country wilderness mule deer.
156 inch thanksgiving day best eating turkey for sure
Kyle, thats a great buck but where are 20" of deductions?
Jaquomo, he had just a touch over 13" of non-typical inches that get deducted since they didn't break 15" he can't be scored non typical. The other 7 inches are just side to differences, mostly in the G2, G3, and G4
Screw net scores. That's an awesome buck.
I hunt NJ very close to home sooooo..... DAMN - you midwest guys, have shot many of my bucks of a lifetime and huge congrats!!!! Will give you top two P&Y official entries (compliments of Shug, giving two because the lesser scoring buck looks bigger to the "eye" than the higher scoring). 140.5" total gross buck - netted 131". Shot 11/18/2011. Second buck - total gross 141", netted 136"... Shot 10/5/2018.
I live among the whitetails, and love everything about them. When a buck eclipses 120" and you see it in velvet, it gets the blood flowing.
this site is so limited to how you can post pics as compared to other sites... This is the second, more recent buck - 141/136.....
First buck from11/18/2011 - weighed 189# dressed... Second buck from 10/5/2018 - dressed 179#

2005, five minutes behind a hot doe with 6pt chasing her.
Wisconsin, a bit over 160" gross. 204# dressed weight. Missed a bigger one the year before, hence my "handle".
And isn't it amazing how the picture is taken will affect the visual of how big the deer is? Angle of the picture, how the head is held, position of the hunter, etc. I have another picture of this buck that makes him look like a 180"+!!
Keefer, that thing is unreal! Very cool buck!
Wow, I just scrolled through here and this is some of the biggest monster bucks complied anywhere. You guys have killed some GIANTS!
Here is one of my better bow kills.
