Anybody have any first hand experience with the subject arrow shaft. They are sold individually for $349.99 each and I am leery about dropping $4,199 on a dozen without some solid references.
Steep price for sure but shipping is free so it all averages out I guess. Not excited about the 12 week wait due to demand though.
Thoughts ?

Do they really have FAD in the name?

Yes Matt it stands for firearm dispatch. They are very effective.
They have a higher quality option that is sold for $1,899 for three...... the CRYO DGs. I just can’t see spending that much ( $7,599) on a dozen arrows though so I am settling for the FADs pending the references from bowsiters.

You can pair them with the 600 grain heads that are $399 for 3. A dozen shafts and heads for $9192. Of course you still need nocks, fletching, inserts

That pricing is shameless for the gimmick sold. I have already committed gluttony buying quality archery equipment over the years. I am still atoning for that. I will not ever fall into that trap again. I am still struggling to consume what I have accumulated.

As always stated when a man points out the outrages costs of some hunting gear, "I don't understand why one many worries about how the other sends their money.". You know, because its not your money.
Back to reality. This is pretty dumb.

My opinion vis-a-vis my money admitting to past mistakes. I never told anyone how to spend their money.

Every time I look at that website it seems like a big joke. I mean is that for real? Has anyone really seen this stuff in person? A $799 shaft you have to shoot full length @35”??

If it was Ping Pong we wouldn`t worry....but to think we are sharing the hunting woods with a numbskull that would buy $4000 arrows frightens the hell out of me...lol Remember the old saying...."keep the sharp objects away from that one"....there you go.

I guess no one wants to admit they have bought into the FAD?

Yes makes no sense. they are back-ordered for three months based on demand according to the website and nobody on the internets top bowhunting site has experience with them. something does not add up.

My mind goes to things like $120 steak dinner, $300 wine, $1500 bourbon, $85,000 pickups, $30,000 sheep hunts...and you have to be on a waiting list for all of it.

These are okay for squirrels and such but you really need the cryo's for any type of game larger than a turkey.
