Yeah , I watched this video today when I got the email from KUIU. I met him the first year he came out with KUIU. It's sad to know he's gone!

Never knew Jason , never met the man. But , I miss him. And I feel terrible that he’s gone.
I Own a lot of his gear, though...... It’s really good mountain gear . Rest In Peace Sheep Hunter.

Great quote: "After your first sheep hunt....either you'll never want to do it again, or it's the only thing you'll ever want to do".

Enjoyed it...well done. I thought Jason was more relaxed in this one than any previous video. Excellent rams and tough, rugged sheep country.

Watching the video, Jason says so many things that make you realize how special sheep hunting is, or for that matter, hunting in general.
Great video without question.

Ha Nick I think Don Jr is ready to go again. Their 2017 hunt I saw Don had to leave early but in this hunt he stayed the whole time. I bet he is ruined like the rest of us.
I've never been sheep hunting and best not. Like a lot of you on here I have a very addictive personality. This whole elk hunting thing is consuming me as is. I couldn't imagine taking it to the next level.

As an Alaska resident in my 30's, I had 4 successful sheep hunts with my best a 36" full curl, and one 3/4 curl I killed at 20 yards. I'm 74 now and day dream of my sheep hunts often. When elk hunting above tree line, I gaze above the vegetation line and my eyes still focus on every light colored rock imagining golden full curls.

Just wish I would have gotten drawn 20 years ago before all my surgeries started. Now I can’t draw a bow or do a stalk getting down on knees and up requires too much time & noise. Even hunting with a rifle was still the ultimate. CTE is just a sad thing one has to go through from all I’ve read. The add for Kuiu with him and his son is a heart breaker.
