Anyone know what happens if you enter as "Party Organizer" but then no one else applies? There is a slim possibility someone else may put in with me but I would rather go ahead and get my app done. It would seem logical to me that my app would still be done and it would have a zero net effect. However, I would sure hate to miss an opportunity because of a detail I could have easily avoided.

Done it a bunch, you'll be fine.

Thanks. Just thought I should leave the option open.

Yep. You are just the leader of a party of one. If your "party" is drawn you will get the tag even if there is only one because your party is one. If a party's name is drawn and the party has more members than tags available no one in the party gets a tag.

Are you sure about that Greg? I thought it was the other way around.... even if there’s less tags than the number of party members they all get tags.

It has been Wy policy to issue extra tags for a party app. That draws with at least one tag yet available . That’s why sometimes you will see Wy NR quota was 10 but a total of 12 NR tags were issued.

Most states wouldn’t, the entire party is out if not enough tags are available in original quota.

I was answering the question about applying as a party leader. Then just adding about party apps in general. I'll defer to those that know more about Wyoming tag allocation than me. I stand corrected!
