Septra for Monteczumas revenge. Also bring a leatherman to pull cactus out of your legs, etc.

I took tweezers with me on my desert hunt a few weeks ago. They did get used. They are lightweight, small, and for sure need to be part of a desert hunt kit.
Take a merino wool buff or the like. Even if it’s cooler than normal, that desert sun will burn your skin fast.
If you have the issue of chapped lips, it’ll be exacerbated in the desert. Chapstick maybe?
