gap shooting

recently tried gap shooting & while yes I known where the tip of my arrow needs to be to hit my target to 30 or so yards it just doesn't seem right to me. if I'm going to conchesly estimate yards & aim I want a sight more than the tip of my arrow & if I'm going to instinctive or split vision shoot with regular practice I'm fair at that to 25 sometimes 30 yards. the key word there is regular practice if I don't shoot a trad bow for a month its like starting all over again. & the bow with sights well a few arrows & let's go hunting
