Wow, I thought they didn't grow that big in CT...

When was it hit Pat?

From: Grunter

That's a tank, to bad a car had to hit it

From: Bow Bullet
14-Feb-19
How bad is the damage to your vehicle Pat?

From: StickFlicker

I wonder if the abnormal growth was caused by being previously hit by a car on his right side when he was younger?

Golf courses are big buck hideaways. I think bucks benefit from all the minerals used on the grasses.

That’s par for the course.

StickFlicker - my thought too. Looks like he had been banged around a bit in the past to get that rack!

Dang, too bad. Wonder how many golfers found his sheds when they were hawking balls?

15-Feb-19
There are deer in CT! I'll be damn.

Bears and moose too. An occasional cougar...well, one anyway ;)

Bow Bullet, I was thinking more like “how bad is the damage to your golf cart Pat?”

What's hard to believe, is that the driver who hit this deer wasn't doing a semi-live hunt here on Bowsite, at the time! Would've been the first recorded deer killed by a CT bowsiter! :-D

Was the driver that hit it a 3 wood? The old hold out a handfull of corn deal?

PAbowhunter- I thought the same thing. First ever documented deer kill in CT.

Funny, I was 'driving' through West Hartford once too, and thought I might surely die there if I hit something. Not a good place to break down...

In this case Pat did not swerve to ovoid the buck

Damn! Too bad one of you CT guys didn't get him during a live hunt!

That is a massive buck. It's funny, I used to see some truly huge deer when I was pheasant hunting and never really thought about it. Then I started deer hunting and never saw them. I went out hunting behind my house when I was on leave from the Army and I sat out there and froze my butt off. When I got back to the house, my Mom told me she saw a deer in the front bushes when she went to get the mail. She went in the house, got her little 110 camera and took a picture of it. Once she got the pictures developed, she showed me this massive 10 point that was bedded under the dryer vent, getting warmed by the Bounce scented dryer steam. Funny how that works
