'morning All,
I had a couple request to try and get some pix of a few units in Utah and try and share them with many of us on the BS.
First stop is for the D-Ram unit San Rafael, South (although the non-ressy tag holder can hunt the North too)
Thanks for viewing,

Not a bad area for a combo Scouting/Fam-Fam vacation.
Comfy Campground, scout or hunt out daily.
I leapfrogged over to Arches NP for a day of hiking before heading to the La Sal La Sal LE Elk and then down to the LE Elk San Juan unit
I am off to the Gym fella's
More to follow
Thanks for taking the time to view
Good luck, Robb
I think I have answered all the PM's.
Yes, I do believe a Fam-Fam vacation can have the option of doing some scouting, either for the Tag drawn or for a future tag.
So a few pix of Arches and then onto La Sal La Sal LE Elk pix
I won a Cowboy Hat @ the Wine Tasting Social the Lodge had going on 1 evening.
Red Cliff Lodge was Base Camp for this Trip

Long distance pic of the La Sal La Sal mountain range
With all the Deep snow, most all of the access roads to the base of the La Sal La Sal mnts had big snow drifts or gated closed.
I had a heck of a time finding the Hole in The Rock---------> haha
Sometimes going UP is easier and safer than coming back Down!
More in the morning fella's
Thanks for viewing.
Good luck, Robb
Nice pics , Robb, except for that one in the Arches - with the stocking cap! Bad one!
Ha! Excellent! Stay safe. Lodges? Wine tasting?
Looks like you are having a blast! Was just over there a couple of months ago... Looks like there has been more snow.
Awesome Robb, keep em' coming !!!
Cheers, Pete
Thanks and Good Morning
From my PM's, I am turning into a Vacation/Scouting Planner!
Fine by me if I can help out.
If any of ya draw a tag in this area and you are bringing your Ponies, this place has boarding for them.
I do not know any nightly/weekly rate so please call them in advance if this is going to be a need of yours.
Quaint little Town of Monticello for the San Juan LE Bull unit

I kinda figured that going into any Utah unit this time of year would be a challenge with all the snow and access windblown/drifted or Gated closed so these are the 2 best pix of the Mountain in the San Juan LE Bull unit.
Certainly gives a guy a look at how open or timbered it is with the white-bright snow separating a lot of habitat.
I never realized how much of the Quakies and open sagebrush that there is on the mtn.
I really have had great luck with this little battery charger for my I-phone.

That pretty much wraps up this lil' trip.
Thanks for taking the time to view and to reach out with your questions, hunting or Fam-Fam vacation related.

Hey Thanks!
My Packers or My Patriots (Tommy--Tommy) Warm beanie's are the only 2 that are very warm and the High Desert can get Bitter cold @ night/early AM when I am out and about hiking.
Good luck, Robb
