My '17 Mtn Lion - Amazingly Fun

Finally getting around to posting this. I have a cousin and a buddy locally who have great lion dogs. I simply had a blast. We treed three cats total last year, but two were female and just got some great pics of. Here is a couple pics of my Tom. I love all dog hunting, whether it be lions, hog, and my old black labs with birds, nothing is better than seeing a good dog hunt. These animals we no exception. The pride, to me, is in the dogs and their owners. Lion guys are crazy and that is what I love about them.

And finally my little mountain lion dog.. Unfortunately after 15 years, my little buddy had had enough last week and is no longer with us. Crazy how important these animals are to us who love them.

That’s awesome. Oddly enough I got to chase lions with dogs in CALIFORNIA once! We treed a bear. It was the hardest hunt bar none that I’ve ever been on....by a MILE! It was 100+ degrees and we ran out of the water. One of the guys drank out of a creek because he couldn’t go any farther without water...a week later he got to spend a week next praying to the porcelain throne! We never caught up to the cat, but it was killed a week later eating the neighbors goat about 10 feet from his deck. (Depredation permit).
Long story short, hunting cats with dogs isn’t easy! Great job!!!!
