Spike.......it would amaze you at how little a Great Horned Owl weighs. They are practically all feathers.

I had a nest behind my house - crazy what all mama would feed her chicks. I would take a peek around the base of the tree on occasion just to see what she’d killed lately. An adult hen turkey and a barn owl were the two most impressive kills. One badass bird!

Onondaga Lake has 40 some odd eagles hanging out, right next to Syracuse. We saw two yesterday on a huge nest near Canadarago Lake. Raptors are everywhere around here. Including GHO.

I saw a similar video several years ago of a Great Horned Owl kicking the crap out of a Bald Eagle. The Eagle died.
