Caught the show "Dropped" and saw they were hunting Moose in Sask. unguided...I thought I heard em say something about tribal land, but not sure. Is that how a US citizen can hunt in Canada unguided? Pay to get a tribal tag, if that's is actually how it is happening?

Years ago you could hunt Quebec moose (and caribou) without a guide as a non-resident alien....not sure now about moose. Obviously Quebec caribou is closed at this time.

Kurt you ( an American) can still hunt Moose and Bear as well as some small game without a guide in Quebec as long as you are hunting in a ZEC

I’ll also say regarding moose their regulations make it pretty undesirable...You are allotted an area that you can’t leave during daylight hours as to not disturb other hunters... More than one hunter/license per moose most cases two and I believe I’ve heard as many as 3 but In some places
