First and foremost thanks to all the guys that have contributed on here. Your stories have been my motivation for a long time. Threw my name and my buddies name in the hat with 0 points and we drew!! Okay now the work begins! This is our fist elk hunt was planning OTC in Colorado but after all the research several guys said apply you have nothing to lose guess they were right. So now the questions begins. Being a first timer wanting to stay away from grizzly bears and distance from Kansas being a factor we are thinking staying in general units around Medicine Bow National Forest. Anyone with tips or experience in this area with advise would be greatly appreciated. To many guys to list have already sent tips and info it has been much appreciated! Man I still can't believe it thanks for motivation bowsite!!
