The nice thing about self filming your hunt is that you can relive it over and over again. I accomplished my goal of shooting a mature buck on video and making a nice shot. This hunt took place in mid September and the buck dressed out at 229 pounds. I hope you enjoy.

Very cool! Great shot and patience. Self filming is hard but very rewarding.

Thanks. It was a fun hunt and it was one of the times where things happened in slow motion. The buck went down right where it goes out of sight. Nice thing about early season is that the bucks aren't wired like during the rut.

Nice video, Dale! Congrats on the buck as well.

Nice! That red squirrel was trying to warn the buck the entire time. Good for you!

Thanks all.

Charlie I forgot to give the little red credit for the sound track. He gave it his best effort especially when I went to full draw.

Thanks, Chuck it was mainly luck that I was able to nudge the camera/mount with my knee and get the shot in the frame.
