He is under 300" but he is by far the most special I've taken because I was fortunate enough to have all my grandson's with me on the mountain that night.

Pretty sure the measurement is good James. On the hoof I estimated my 2011 bull at close to 300" but it doesn't matter I was shooting him anyway...

Driver's side is pretty nice but the other was funky with a club at the base with a sword and a dropper. Probably just under that if both were similar. As is, way under, LOL!

Unless you live where they live any legal bull is a great bull. I use to hold out but I had a long dry spell. Now anything legal brings a smile.

I have been fortunate to have chased & killed a few Elk. In over 60 years of bowhunting a wide variety of biggame ELK, ANY ELK gets me more excited than anything. I was never a horn hunter & as I said, any Elk was my target..

Yeah, I watched him wallow for about 10 minutes and at times the only part of him sticking out of the mud was his antlers, he even buried his face in it. He was a disgusting mess to skin! Never again... unless he's over 350"...
