Risky but deadly! I lost a bull once that i wish i had shot frontal. Waited for him to turn slightly quartering to. Probably only got one lung. Tracked that bull forever it seemed! LOTS of blood till it eventually stopped bleeding and kept moving. Learned early and hard on that one.

Always a great sight. I like that frontal....otherwise......shoot them low and more often than not....its like putting a hole in your oil pan

Watched a buddy hit a bull broadside up in the "V".... it barely flinched and standing there the sound was like pour water out of a bucket on a flat rock. Still seemed to take forever before he tipped over. Incredible. And makes you realize that "great" blood trail you've followed before for a half mile, (he should be on the ground already!)..... was pretty much just a drop in the bucket so to speak...... these are not deer..... they've got huge tanks....
