Hunting some private property of a friend of a friend here in FL. For hogs . No one has been allowed to hunt here except the property owner till me. There’s a feeder about 50 yds away. I’m in the hog trail stand. Winds perfect. I was walked in and told I can stay and hunt as long as I like. Last yr my pal got a 20 yd shot at a porker at 10 at night. He missed when he couldn’t see his pin. I have a light but I’m alone and don’t know if I can pull off shooting and shining at the same time. This is a different property than we were at last yr.
It’s 76 degrees and I’m glad I got the thermacell. This landowner has corn and feeders everywhere. This is true free range hunting. No fenced animal here.
