Toms are going crazy as usual here in April. Our season opens May 1st.....this guy came cruising through with 4 other toms and maybe 10 hens.

The end of May is awesome and it will be again this year! I always kill more mature gobblers at the end of the season. The 2 yr olds are fun to hunt because they are usually more vocal and usually are the birds killed earlier in the season. If you’ve never matched witts with a 4yr old, 5 yr old or older gobbler, your missing out

Haven't hunt Ny in a while. But if a tag out here in Pa, I'll be heading to Ny, I hunt up around the Hancock area. Wish there was more state land right on the Delaware river. It be pretty cool to be canoeing down it in the early morning trying the locate a bird to hunt. Ed
