Thanks Paul wish I could have made it!
Thanks Paul
Very nice indeed
Good luck, Robb
Thanks Paul for posting!!
Great pics, thanks Paul. That bedded mule deer looks like he could stand up and walk off.
Cool pics, thanks for sharing!

That new world record brown bear dwarfed the other skulls which were nothing to sneeze at! Damn, you would think it was a cave bear or something!!!
Billy Ellis- MS. -
The first Trust Fund Director for P&Y. His first donation was from Fred Bear
Two of the many SS Agents who were in attendance to provide protection for Jr. They were all nice and would speak when spoke to. Maybe Jr. can get them some KUIU vest so they won't stand out like "sore thumbs" next time ! These nameless, loyal people are to be respected for the protection they provide. Does anyone know Jr.'s SS code name?
Great pics Paul. It was great to finally meet you!
There were a few that were not so obvious.
Thanked one of them up on the 6th floor overlooking Don Jr while he was sitting downstairs after the banquet.
He was kind of startled but relaxed pretty quick and we talked a little. Never stopped checking everything going on downstairs.
Treeline, do you think he was he packing and thinking you might be a diversion? A 6th floor fall can be devastating! Not the fall but the sudden stop at the end and with all of the loud noise coming from the 5th floor, no one would have been wiser. Watch your back my friend. Paul
No kidding!
Just wonder how many other there were that were not in suits! Hell, they were probably Keeping a close eye on the frat party...
This guy was making sure that the bear didn’t charge the stage while Jr was talking!

How many who were in attendance at the Friday night banquet thought about they were vented by the “gubmint” to ensure they were not a security risk with to Jr.’s presence ? After all, P&Y did have a pretty firm list of attendees they could provide for venting purposes.
I’m sure they had never seen a “head shaving” before and probably wondered what type of extremist group Bowsite.com is.
Then they had to take on challenges of Room 531.
Bottomline: SS had their work cut for them at the P&Y Convention.
They had to have been cutting up over some of the shinanagans that were going on in 531.
Anyone get pictures of ki-ke in his tighty-whities? Shug?
Paul, It was a pleasure meeting you at the convention and I really enjoyed our conversation after the banquet. I’m already looking forward to the next “yard hopper” report.
Thanks Randy as it was my pleasure also. As others have stated, so little time with many old and new friends. Be careful on those deep water oil rigs, I am sure one can not just wade to shore if needed. OK, there will be a Season 9, Yard Hoppers. my best, Paul
Great pictures Paul. Thanks for sharing. If anyone has a good photo of my mounted bison from the display, I would like a copy. It was the only bison mount there. I was so busy, I never took a single picture of the trophies. I look forward to the day when I can truly enjoy the convention once again.
Not the greatest, but this is what I got. I’ll email it to you
Thanks for taking the time to post Paul. Great pictures!
Tavis, Thanks for emailing it. Lisa commented that we should have gotten a picture of me standing next to the mount. It's not every day that you take an animal that gets invited to the convention. What an honor. There is nothing in the world that compares to a P&Y convention and the people you meet there.
Jim, the rest of us can not begin to understand what it takes to put on a convention. Thanks to you and all the staff and volunteers.
Yes, best one of the nine conventions I've attended. Thanks to Jim, P&Y staff, NE Bowhunters, all the volunteers etc!!!! Great job!
Jim, Great convention! thank you for all the hard work! John
Jim, here’s the one I took. I can email it or send it to your phone if you want. PM me. I sent my kids pics of all the trophies and that was the one that stood out to them.
Here’s me, Will, and Palmquist
Matt got around... here he is with his mouth open. Ike in the background. This is where the "mobile frat party" got moved from. :)
Thanks everyone for the kind words. This convention was a huge undertaking and overall, it went very well. When Dallas suggested that we might be able to get Don Jr as speaker, we knew that it was going to be yuge! Everything else benefited because of him being there. I don't see how we will ever top it.
Jim - You can top this year's turnout by having him speak at the next convention. I think Don Jr just might accept the invitation. Great event this year. There's alot going behind the scenes to pull off a convention like that. Great job!
Heck Don Jr. knocked it out of the park!
The trophy display was over the top as well. How many lifesize brown bears does a guy get to see at a banquet? Everything went so well because of all the hard work behind the scenes. That was the P&Y board, staff, Nebraska Bowhunters, and all the volunteers. Amazing amount of work.
Great leadership and participation! Thanks Jim and all the rest of the crew that pulled it off so well!
Anyone want to guess how many years of bowhunting experience is represented here?

This one is amazing.
Not sure what the stats show, but probably less than 5% of all the P&Y members ever get an animal big enough to be given an award for a recording period in their lifetime.
This guy had 9 for the last recording period! Unreal! That is some serious bowhunting there!
Congratulations Frank! Awesome accomplishment!
Wow, Frank, that's unbelievable! Congratulations on a very impressive accomplishment!
John McPeak to Franks left! Top shelf guy as well! C
Frank, Alan Bolen & Ernesto Santana pretty much ran the gambit at the awards. They had some awesome trophies. All due hardy congrats !!
Those guys have killed more stuff than smallpox!
WOW!, I am so disappointed I wasn't able to attend! What a show and awesome pictures!
Thanks Paul for sharing and all the work taking the photos! But... I am still waiting for the flashing blonde photo!
