Big Boar with the Longbow

This big boar showed up right before dark to a spot I had been throwing corn for 3 days. Shot him with the cheap Black Hunter Longbow 40# at my 26” draw.

NOW YA KNOW, you can't kill a hog that size with a 40# stick and string, with a 26" micro draw. Or at least so I have heard by the experts. Yeah I am being a Smart Donkey. but JUST couldn't help myself. You got some REALLY good penetration out of that set up and with that arrow. I can't tell from the picture for sure but isn't that a wood shaft with natural turkey fletches? Nice shot placement! Well done!!!!! This your first hog with that set up? DANNY
