My daughter's first turkey hunt
Took my almost 4 year old daughter on her first turkey hunt. We had an absolute blast in the woods together sitting in our "playhouse" (her words, not mine), listening to and watching the birds come alive this past weekend. It was an amazing day that left me a VERY proud dad.
That's awesome! May it be the first of many for you guys together in the turkey woods. There's nothing better than having your kids in the blind with you!
Congrats on taking your daughter out hunting. The biggest problem I had when my daughters were that age was keeping them awake. The second biggest problem was making sure they had enough snacks!
Many congrats on a job well done! Looks like you both enjoyed it a lot!!! Chief nailed it- naps and snacks are big deals for those little shavers! I'm finding out that teenage boys snack and sleep as much as the little ones do too. Ha!
Enjoy those trips and times, jbrown- they pass by really quickly. Great work being a good dad!
That is very special, and very cool! Well done dad!
Congratulation on the nice bird as well!
Warm clothes, plenty of food, snacks, plenty of food, snacks a stuffed animal or two, and few games (I played a 6 hour game of monopoly with my daughter on her antelope hunt once!) and you're in for a good time. We play cards, board games, cribbage, etc. I'm not talking about video games.
Well done! Good as it gets
Awesome, congratulations on making great memories, like scoot said ,you blink your eyes and they are grown. What part of N.C. do you live in ? I live in Eastern N.C. Hyde county. Forrest
Great memories made right there! Way to go, dad!
That’s is what hunting is all about. Thanks for passing it on!! Hunt
