Looks like that’s two years in a row they sold out of combo licenses after having leftovers previously. Some will come back with the people who put in for the refund if they didn’t draw their LE unit.

Big game combo for me. Took a long shot at a breaks tag with no points that I didn't draw.

We applied for the elk combo not the big game . 55% draw odds on our permit and we were successful

Wished does that figure include preference points in the equation? Nmwapiti that's not a long shot that's an impossibility. There are no long shots as such in MT.

No breaks tag for me this year. But Glad to be able to still hunt with a general tag. Tomorrow’s never a guarantee get out and hunt!

2018 drawing stats for non residents:
Big game combo: 0 points 51.25 percent 1 point 100 percent 2 points 100 percent
Deer combo: 0 points 60.11 percent 1 point 100 percent 2 points 100 percent
elk combo: 0 points 53.64 percent 1 point 100 percent 2 points 100 percent
Last years draw odds. Big dan it say that only 53 percent drew elk combos last year. That tells me no leftover tags last year either or am I reading that wrong.

Well we didn't draw for Big game Combo.. So hows the return tag system work?? I don't remember. I looked into it last year but was not in the draw so I didn't pay to much attention to it. Ed

Pop-r, last year I would have had a 10.27 percent chance at a 620-21 archery permit with no points. Not great, but compared to NM or Utah where I have spent most of my years, not too bad.
