Good luck to you guys! I will only dream about it. And enjoy your stories! Wish I was in the game. Anybody see the latest issue of Western Hunter and that unreal muley from Colorado on the cover?

I got sucked in last year with the cheap price, thought I might get a few year run before they jacked them, I was wrong.

Haven’t seen that magazine.

Was it that gnarly non-typical killed by a bowhunter?

He wasn’t at P&Y, but there was a new WR from Saskatchewan. This velvet one wasn’t in this recording period.

Yep. Would be cool if he actually entered it in P&Y though.

Gonna be some happy, happy hunters in a week:)

Hope I'm one of them!

Good to dream, Paul!

That kind of ram is not really a possibility in Colorado, except for perhaps one place that I certainly can not afford...

27-Apr-19
Your right Travis as far as size goes....COLO and wyoming have "smaller genetic" ram for the most part...but the real measurement is in the adventure the new WR was the first tag ever in a area with tons of hikers picture takers and such...that ram was a loner and once found it was kind of a done deal...rolling hills kinda country...lots of Montana rams are rut hunted and guys have to sometimes be clever there is no phone lines and motel signs in the background for the trophy shot I would say for the real challenge for a mature ram Colorado ranks right up there....

Not being a hater trust me would love to have been the guy...read the story....admire the animal ....

I’d just be happy to draw ONE sheep or moose or goat in my lifetime......anywhere!

Put in for the sheep, mt. goat, and moose again this year, but didn’t spend the extra cash for the additional PPs, though. Already have 18-19 points for each one, and buying the additional points won’t even move the needle in my direction appreciably. That’s an additional $300 that I can put in a fund where someday I can just book the hunt and go in Canada.
