I want new arrows
So what is everybody shooting ?
Easton 4MM FMJ Injexion's
Gold Tip Hunter Pro from the compound and Easton Axis Traditional from the recurve
It's getting harder and harder to find a "bad" arrow shaft.
Easton Axis 5mm with a 5/8" homemade collar/footing. Makes a great arrow even better.
Carbon Tech Whitetail...an oldie but goodie. If it ain't broke (no pun intended) no need to fix it. I have enough to last me the rest of my hunting days.
Beman ICS Classics....Made in the USA!!! ;-)
Axis 260s with 50 grain brass inserts and bar collars. I would like to have a longer collar but the prices keep me using the bar collars.
Hey Josh...............................what are my new Arrows??? ;-)
Victory VAP TKO Elites.. 4mm.. with 95 grn ss inserts..
2nd yr with the 5mm Axis Pro's.
Victory VAP Elite .166 with the 95 grain stainless steel insert.
Easton Deep Six FMJ Injection 4 mm 280 spine. Hard hitting mofo's, love these arrows.
Perry...you’re shooting the best now!! :)
Gold Tip Pierce Tours or Velocity Pro's
If I didnt have so many black eagle arrow I'd be buying day six. Hopefully I'll use up a bunch and do the changeover next year.
Easton Epic 340's when I can find them for sale I buy them
Boring but durable, reliable and accurate GT XT Hunters and Beman ICS Hunters.
Easton Axis 5mm for a while
for well over 20 years Ive been using Goldtip, actually, ever since Goldtip hit the market !! .... either the Hunter XT's/Pros or the Velocity's XT's or Pros ... the Hunter XT or Pro's 75/95's(340's) or the 55/75's(400's) for many years, then to the Velocity's for about the last 7yrs or so(same spines), now back to the Hunter XT's because I have so many of 'em (75/95's/340's) ... they work so well, Ive not found a reason to change for those 20+ years ... I shot aluminum's back in the 80's/early 90's, then tried the Beman extruded which were junk and when GT came out with the full carbons, I went to them and never looked back .... I did use the ACC's for a bit, but they still bent, so I went back to the GT's and will stay with them ..
Bloodsports. Figured more did than does for sure apparently!
I have been using Easton Aluminum Platinum Plus for tournaments (3-D, Field, Target). I use Easton Gamegetters & XX75s for hunting & Easton Aluminum 2712s for indoor only. I did Carbons 2 years & went back to Aluminum.. They have served me well. Red Feathers.
I’m using Goldtips. HunterXT with my compound.
Easton XX75 for my recurves... but lately trying Beman carbons , ICS Hunter Classics.
Black Eagle Deep Impacts Great spine consistency, accurate and hit hard.
I switched from fmjs to day six this year about 100 grains heavier and sure quieted the bow down hopefully I’ll stick one through an elk in a few months and can have an on animal performance opinion of them, all my archery elk have been killed with the fmjs so far.
Gold Tip Pro Hunters or Gold Tip Kinetic Kaos both a awesome shafts
Valkyrie Reign 350's w/75gr ss outsert, and 250gr Jagger's w/Viking center pin.
ACC 349 with 50 gr. brass inserts and 3" FF-SK 300s. 16.2% FOC and 439 grains of bad news if your an Elk...
Currently going back and forth between my ol’ faithful Acc 3-60’s and Victory VAP TKO Elites and FMJ 4mm Injexions. Leaning more towards the FMJ Injexions everyday.
Easton 5mm FMJ recently replaced with Gold Tip Hunter Pro.
Victory is making some outstanding arrow products. The Vap TKO'S are the bomb!!! I am also messing with the Victory Xtorsion arrow, it's a heavy arrow with carbon and wrapped stainless steel fibers!!!
I made the switch to Black Eagle Rampage two years ago and am very happy with performance on game and accuracy.
I just ordered Some of the Stanless carbon from Victory 11.5 gr per inch
I shoot Beman ICS bow hunter shafts from my longbow. Beman ICS hunter classic and precision hunter shafts from my compound.
I'm switching to Grizzlystik TDT from Element Archery. I'm not getting into the hfoc Grizzlystik pushes, but will be using Ethics Archery components on the .204 diameter shaft. Finished arrow weight should be in the 468 grains weight for my stick bows. I'm looking forward to using these shafts this fall.
Excalibur fluted. The tricky part is getting the helical fletching to stick ;-)
I shot FMjs for a decade or so... I switched in the past year to Gold Tip Hunter Pros and have been very impressed. My bow is shooting better than it ever has currently.
GT 7595 XT Hunters for me. Tough as they come.....
XX 75 in 2117 size, autumn orange, they still fly better than i can aim!
BE Rampage and just purchased a dozen Day 6.
I looked at the Valkyrie system at the PY banquet. Very impressive, but some big coin, especially considering how many arrows we can run through whitetails in NJ. I really like how they accomplish FOC with a stiffer spine/heavy head. I am leaning towards VAP's TKO with the SS outsert/sleeve as an option.
I REALLY like that Valkyrie system....they have developed a great solution to the weak links at the front of the arrow.
The new Easton HEXX 260s with the brass insert. great arrow and straight .001
