That's crazy! Is that a cave or just a crevice between rocks?

If you fenced in all those kind of places in WV, you'd increase steel prices three fold

Slipped off the edge, hooked the back end of his antler on a tree, broke his neck and died hanging there.

found one alive like that years ago, had fallen in an old test mine that had collapsed. He was dehydrated and weak, we roped his antlers and pulled him up. he bedded down within reach. The next morning he was gone.

I hope these types of photos do not make it to animal rights group. Who knows what measures they would want to take against the earth and landowners for not protecting the lives of these innocent animals !

Cheesehead Mike, do you know the origin of that photo? I see the blood on the rocks and it makes me wonder.

Korey,
I think it was a Bowsite story from years ago or a story online that I copied the photos from. I believe a hunter shot it and it fell off a cliff and down into the hole.

In 2003 I was guiding on a ranch in WY unit 7 and we found a dead buck in a similar position but the entire skeleton was there. Wish I had taken a picture. Hard life in the canyons.
