I just got the age back on my CT January buck. He was 6.5. Pretty cool because the week before I shot him I found his last years shed while scouting. I killed him not 100 yards from it. It was January 19th and he was pushing does around just outside the bedding area

Very cool to get the info on age and he would have been a smart old warrior!

Awesome buck, and always nice finding the sheds of your target buck or a buck you killed by chance. Makes a great mount with the shed included somehow. Congrats!

Beautiful coloring on that buck. Did you get a shoulder mount done?

I just did a Euro mount. I just don’t have the room for many more shoulder mounts. I really like the look of cleaned skulls too.

It was a good year. The buck on the right was a 5.5 year old buck from this season in NY.
