Wild Sheep

This Thursday the results will be posted. Good luck everyone!
Thanks you to. I am very close for sheep and close for moose, most likely next year sheep and 2021 moose but you never know.
Good luck to everyone in the game!
I've got my fingers crossed for a moose tag but not real confident. If point creep goes up by one I should have a decent chance. But with the increase in fees to purchase points I'm guessing there will be a lot more people that actually put in for tags and attempt to bail out. We'll know soon....
Good luck on that buff tag Craig. I've got everything crossed that I possibly can hoping for the elusive goat tag.
Ron, this is your year for a goat or moose tag!
Cow bison will have good odds............
Fingers crossed for Moose also. Man I have to get lucky someday....
MOJO to you Bow Hunters!
I have no Problem-O sharing Intel on Moose 23 or 26 to anyone that draws. I drew 15 Bull Moose but I don't think there is a Non-Ressy tag this year...….
Plus, I have really good Intel for the NER area 'Buff' lucky tag holders, 12 out of the last 13 years I have hunted the NER on a Cow Elk tag, plenty of experience Off the NER too as I harvested my Buff early on like the 15th of September that year I drew.
Exciting!
Good luck, Robb
Anyone in for unit 4 or 5 goat?

Here's the official notification. Good luck to everyone who applied.
I will be holding my breath !!! If the past draw history repeats itself I was in the game.
Online it says unsuccessful for 2019, is that official?
No goat tag for me as well.....
Nada here. I thought Buffalo odds would get better with the CC fee, but they stayed pretty close to the same with 2 more tags in the pot.
Starting to wonder how old I will be when I finally get a sheep tag in Wyoming...
Congrats Mike! That's a tough tag though. They really struggled there last year.
Congrats Mike, best of luck!
Wow Mike, congrats on the tag!
Did you draw on preference or random?
Looks like no random NR tag in area 1 this year due to tag cuts
CC fee's had varying effects on NR application #'s this year, depending on species. NR applicants declined to some degree for each though.
Sheep: Less 90 (-3.2%)
Moose: Less 89 (-5.9%)
Goat: Less 150 (-12.4%)
Bison: Less 131 (-20.5%)
All NR that applied for goat areas 4 or 5 drew
Finally drew my moose tag. I had some old messages on here from people that were going to help me out a little and now I can't seem to find any of my old messages anywhere. I'd like to ask you all, if you were one of the people discussing moose with me a while back would you please message me again? Thanks.
Congratulations Mike. My 19 points did not get me my sheep tag.
Nothing for me!
Congrats Mike on the sheep tag!
No goat for me. Congrats to those who drew.
Interesting on the app numbers. I wonder if last year was the crest of the applications for WY NR big 4...
Congratulations on the sheep tag, Mike! Hope you have a great hunt!
Congratulations on the moose tag, Shane! Should be a great hunt as well!
Congrats! Does 001 refer to the unit? Just trying to get a handle on the number of points required to draw a particular unit.
Sheep tag for me, in an area we know part of very well.
No Bison or Goat for me either......Long shots but worth trying. I thought the costs would weed out more people but I guess if your into it the dollars and cents aren't going to keep you out.
19 points but missed a few years of applications in the early years.
Probably over 23 years of applying...
Never would have dreamed it would get like this on so many of these drawings back then.
Hard to believe how many YEARS missing a few years is going to cost me!
Kicking myself...
Actually, I just checked and I had 18 points and there were 3 tags issued for NR in the max pool and no random draw for area 1. Two guys with19 applied and both drew and then 5 of us with 18 applied and I drew the one additional tag.
And to think, if someone offered me a guarantee that I would draw a bighorn tag in only 19 short years from today, I would jump at that chance. Unfortunately, as we all know, that's a pipe dream. I have handfuls of points across several states, and I think it's likely that I'll never draw an OIL tag.
I was only in for moose hoping for a random tag, didn't happen, no surprise.
Redman, I drew area 1 sheep in 2017, rifle hunted, went guided early in the season. Killed a smallish ram. PM me if you want more details. As Ron said above the area 1 hunters struggled in 2018, I have no idea why but that's not a good sign.
Congrats on the tags drawn fella's!!!
Exciting
Good luck, Robb
Congrats to those who drew dream tags. I still have something to look forward to. Maybe. Someday.....
Anyone else showing an increase in their preference point totals despite not having purchased a point when applying?
For sheep and moose you get a "free" point when you apply for only $150.
At least that's how I think it works.
According to the regs WY deducts the $150 point fee from your refund for sheep & moose. This is not the case for elk, deer and pronghorn as points can only be accrued during the point purchase period of July 1-Oct. 31.
No sheep tag in CO or WY for me. I’m shocked
