I had the video marked as private (Don't know much about youtube). I think it's fixed now for public viewing.

nice video. It almost looked like the arrow bounced off the bear and landed in front of him. congratulations on a nice bear

Hancock West..... I use "FOB" (Search Bowsite for information) in place of conventional fletching on my arrows. On a pass through shot the FOB pops off as you noticed in the video. It is occasionally convenient as the FOB serves as a marker as to where the critter was standing when hit.

Sweet footage! Awesome bear, great shot.

I kept telling myself there's no way that arrow could have deflected but that makes perfect sense now. Never used lighted knots but hoping to this year.

Hancock West... FOB is not a lighted nock. It's a complete replacement for conventional (Vanes / Feathers) that sits between the arrow and the nock. The ones I use hunting are bright orange in color thus it sort of looked like a lighted nock in the video. They do come in a variety of other colors.

Black Bear / Black Cat
Just got the bear in the above video back as a rug. Rolled it out on the family room floor and our big (18 lb Maine Coon) black cat immediately claimed it. Skull was 17.5 inches and hide squared 6'1". I'm already signed up for the same bear camp for 2020, I'm sure there is a bigger bear around and, besides, it's so convenient being a days drive from my home in Minneapolis as well as a very comfortable camp and great guide / outfitter.
