I'm planning some scouting trips on my bike into the backcountry and am looking to get an affordable single travk trailer for my bike. I know Quietkat, Rambo etc. Offer them, but are there any other options maybe not geared towards hunting that would be a good option?

Apart from the likes of Quietkat & Rambo, I searched around a little and found these guys that have trailer:

https://www.mayacycle.com/ (This one looks good and versatile)

https://www.aosom.com/item/aosom-solo-single-wheel-bicycle-cargo-bike-trailer~5663-1336.html (This is quite similar but a different brand)

http://www.aevon-trailers.com/ (Then this store has some very nice trailer models, a bit pricey though)

What are you hauling? I put a basket on the front and a luggage rack on the back of my bike. I can carry lots of stuff. I can't strap on a treestand and sticks but I don't need to. I can put my climber on my back and have plenty of room for my pack (or 2) on my bike. I hunt private land for whitetail so I could ATV or truck but I prefer the bike. Just a thought.

I was hoping you would comment John thanks, I'll look at those! I will be carrying basically my camp, spotter, water/food to stash. I have panniers but was looking for a little more room so I dont have to wear my backpack while riding.

One more question will most of these fit a mid drive ebike? Or would I have to find a custom skewer?

Robert Axle project should have the axle and bobbins you need. I was there 30 minutes ago and grabbed a setup for my bike BOB Ibex trailer.

Bob any issues with a 4" fat tire clearance on the BOB trailers? I like the look of that Ibex. Did you go with them because you like the name???

I used a modified burley in the past. Trying the BOB this year just because I had it laying around. I see no issue with tire width but a 29” might be a problem.

Steve no worries, that's good intel as well!

Just finished up the bob, it’s an old ibex and 29” wont work and I doubt 4” will either. One thing to note, this bob is noisy. Not the trailer but the connections. The bobbins have clearance as does the trailer drop out so it rattles.
