We didn't draw either, but you have to give credit to Idaho. They do not mess around between deadline and draw.

Check out Colorado. Apparently it’s the place for all the unsuccessful draw hunters to head to. Lots of otc. Cheaper than Wyoming. Cpw really needs the money and Colorado has the biggest elk herd in the country.

I have learned quite a lot reading the Colorado bye bye thread.

There is nothing like the Rocky Mountains in September!!

No elk for me , still have my OTC deer tag .

No controlled elk for my boy. He's pretty bummed but excited to hangout on my OTC archery hunt up there.

Sasquatch, I've been up there mid-October. Snow sure made the roads slick. I'd plan on bringing a 4-wheeler to ride in (where legal of course) and camp.
