Was finally able to find a few goats 4th of July weekend. Drove up on top of Mt Evans on Sunday.

The gentle curve of the horns, thicker bases with not much space between and appears to be enlarge scent pads around the bases. The high shoulder stance and the shedding of the pantaloons on front legs would lead me to guess Billy.
Of course positive ID would be to watch it urinate or see from the rear to determine if it has nuts or a vulva patch .

I was just down from the peak. I didn’t look to see how high I was but if I had to guess it was around 14,000’.

When I took the pictures I was about 20 yards from them. There was a guy that walked up to about 10’ from them.
Shortly after seeing the goats some big horns were walking by the road. A small ram walked a few feet from my Jeep. I wasn’t fast enough with the phone to get a picture as it walked by.
I did get a few pics of some sheep through my spotter. They were probably a 1/4 mile out from me.

In the 80's I did a bike race up Mt Evans. (It was a true race for some but for a flatlander it's a survival ride.) At the finish line we had goats sticking their heads in the cargo doors of our Suburban. I need to find those pics.
