'morning All,
I had a pretty unique opportunity to do some photo/scouting for 3 fellow bowhunters as 1 drew bow Antelope, another 1 drew bow Muley and the 3rd drew bow Elk/Bull with in this 111-113 unit block in Nevada.
I've drawn 3 Muley tags and 1 Antelope tag over the years in this unit block, so I kinda had a good idea of where to go for each species.
I got to cover a lot of ground in my RZR2 and some miles on my boots.
Antelope, Muleys, Elk, Wild Horses and Snakes sighted and enjoyed.
Thanks for taking the time to view this thread fella's!

I traveled west on I-80 across the Salt Flats and Bonneville Speedway where they set all the land speed records.
I got off I-80 in Wendover to catch the short-cut 93A Route instead of going all the way to Wells.

I did things a little different on this trip as I wanted to start @ the north end of 112 before towing the last 79 miles down to Ely and my lodging, so change out of my Pretty Boy traveling cloth's and into my dust and thunderstorm cloth's for the RZR2 ride.
More to follow---------->
Off to the Gym and then a good hike on the mountain here @ home before it hits 100 degree's !!
Thanks again for taking the time to view
Good luck, Robb
Looking forward to the rest Robb, that unit cluster is definitely on my radar for deer, and if I run across some tremendous luck, elk.
I did 133 miles round trip on the RZR2 that first morning.

The fires burn so HOT that it scorches the ground to the roots and takes many years to grow back
One of my FAV area's to chase bow Muleys and the big fire came thru 3 years ago August and it still hasn't grown back in nice and lush
The Campground is very primitive and all grown over.

After getting back to my F350 and the big Thunderstorm finally quite raining I had to add 5 gallons of gas from my SureCan gas can.
I have my FAV place to stay in Ely and was glad to finally get there.
By booking my preferred Room over the years I can back right in with F350 and trlr hooked up. Makes it nice for coming and going each day.

Did you see any animals, or just go for a long ATV ride?
Matt
Long day but that wraps up Day 1
Sure did, Elk, Antelope and Muleys during Day 1 riding. Chukars, snakes, Jackrabbits...….Wild Horses....
Thanks for viewing
Good luck, Robb
The biggest challenge I had was that the Antelope tag holder was interested in the Tippett/Antelope Valley area which is in the North East of these Units and the Muly tag holder was more interested in the Cleve Creek area which is in the very most southern part of the units.
Lot's of ground to cover between those 2 area's.
Toss in the Bull Elk tag holder was interested in the Duck Creek area.....

Not real shady tree's but nice area.

Kind of a nice quaint little lake and campground in this Small acreage Cave Lake State Park.
Wouldn't be a bad basecamp to hunt out of for Muleys and Bulls although I never personally have over the years of hunting in these block of units.

That wraps up this Photo/Scouting trip.
Of course I shared more with the tag holders than the internet crowd but it's always enjoyable to Pay it Forward type deal.

Man, I sure have answered a lot of questions about these units, I never realized how popular they have become over the years.
Be safe out there, Robb
