Score of Your BIGGEST Whitetail?
Yes we know it's not all about scores but sometimes it is!
168" Kansas ( Live in NY) recurve
184" Gross Iowa (Live here)
127” gross. Wisconsin. Still waiting on my first real biggun:)
Not a clue. I’ve arrowed about 75, and have never measured one. Not an “inches” hunter. If you are, that’s fine with me.

I never get tired of seeing the bruisers that top 180! Ohiohunter's 204 typical is the stuff of dreams!!!
183 5/8 gross antler, 152 3/8 net, Oklahoma.
Just for you P2S, thanks man!
191 w archery equipment. I understand why people don’t measure their game. I don’t. I just happen to know this one because a hunter was interested when he saw it. “We don’t measure our game and we don’t measure our wives.” It takes a bit away from why we hunt. “I scored the same deer ‘really nice’.
8 point 150 1/8 gross, 147 1/8 net taken with a Martin Dyna-Bow, the first true "single cam bow", New York 1992
Correction, it was a Graham Dyna-Bow

I never get tired of seeing Ohiohunter's bleached pompadour!
161 gross CO but I don't hunt whitetails, only shoot them if a big one accidentally wanders by.

163” avg? How big was the biggest?
138” in Florida. Beat that u yanks!!!!
123 ish, Kansas. And I've hunted them in 6 states. 9 total hunts. I'm going to Alberta this year to see if I can do any better. I love every second of it, even if they've given me hell over the years.
190 6/8" killed this past Nov 27th in Ohio. My biggest archery buck is 147"
!86 6/8 Indiana. Biggest field dressed 218 lb.
148”, 275# IL. With an outfitter on a lease. Was my best scoring buck but he was only 6.5 years old. I’ve killed lower scoring bucks that age on hard hunted public in NY.... including a 10.5 year old ghost that just broke 130.
The 10.5 NY public land buck I mentioned
166* KS (guided). 161 Idaho (DIY).
Two Shawn's I see, my biggest 183. Shawn
Nov 8th, 2018 Iowa. 214 7/8" Gross 204 4/8" Net
121 bow, 150 muzzle loader
Scores are fun, but I'd rather shoot a mature old brute regardless. Had a mid 180 class buck in bow range twice 2 years ago, he disappeared all of last year, now hes back... and hes enormous.
Haven't found anything big enough to take to the taxidermist yet, so just one forky that was injured already that scored about 47. :)
Having just one tag a year most years here in MN, I usually only hold out for a buck until the firearms season opens, then I'll take the first tasty doe that wanders by.
125 gross - Bow, MO. like 35" of mass
150 gross 8 point. 225 dressed (scale weighed). Recurve Iowa Self guided, private land. No high fence.
128” gross Oklahoma , haven’t shot a P and Y yet not seen very many of that caliber. Missed a 150s ten point in Kansas a couple years ago that stung.
164" iowa whitetail, recurve
154" for bow. Spot and stalk.
Mid 160"s with a broken tine. Spot and stalk 40 yds with a rifle. Shot a 190"s back in 2002 but lost him to a neighbor
88" 10 point in KS with a bow. Lost a 220" in KS with rifle but lost him to the neighbor. Tough hunt.
And ... we will never see your face Quinn
Hard to post a hero picture of a rifle kill the neighbor got on the BOWSITE. You seem to have no problem finding plenty of old rifle kills to post on the BOWSITE.
See you this fall. The property we leased should have plenty of deer on it that you fed all year. We might even get a chance to kill one of then with BOW before your rifle hunt starts.
169 gross in Virginia. It was the second deer I ever killed with a bow.
153"/224lbs Indiana....... Bow .. as mentioned in my earlier post ..
173” but shoulda passed him as he was 3. He was wounded and being hunted hard by others on the neighboring propertiesas it was so I likely wouldn’t have found him next year.
Boreal, Dale is obviously more of a numbers guy. Some are about quality, others prefer quantity. You just need to decide which you are ;). It’s hard to be both. I knew a few guys like Dale in high school. Ha
173” typical is a shooter on any stretch of land. My 200+ is thought to have been 3.5... and a 180+ NT aged at 9+.. genetics, nutrition, stress... too many factors to suggest they WILL be bigger in time beyond a certain age. Places I hunt, you capitalize or you may never see that buck again. I’ve never seen a toad twice.
Gotta disagree somewhat, ohio. Can’t kill a 200” deer if you shoot him when he’s 170”. Granted, lots of variables and factors involved in, hopefully, getting him to 200”, and getting a crack at him, too.
When you hunt 5, 20, 50 acres.... you shoot 170’s every time.
I’ll add this... I don’t think anyone here would pass a 170” in hopes he’ll be bigger, I have 4 north of 170 and I’ll be damned if I let even a 160 walk.... heck.. any more I’m a “brown it’s down guy”, way more fun and less stress about inches of bone that will only collect dust.
