My wife and I are buying our first home, closing 8/23!
It has an office, which I'm turning into my hunting room. It already has wood floors that we are going to refinish.
Looking for cool ideas, anything from paint, to storage (lots of packs, a tent, sleeping bag etc) as well as a place to hang up my bow and be able to shoot inside (blind bale).
Thanks!

I used old pallets to create an old barn wall look to my man cave. Pallets can be found free most places so the project was relatively cheap and I love how it turned out!

Congrats on your first home! Hope you make many great memories there.
I'm fond of my antler tree and it's easy to do.

I also like perimeter wall spot lighting with a dimmer switch. Great for highlighting stuff on the wall and can be adjusted for mood at night. Nothing cooler than having the center of the room dimly lit while the walls have some light.

Wood Walls makes it easy to hang anywhere .... I used 1/2" plywood sheets ..... Congrats on your 1st home ... enjoy & have FUN! .... and you can never have too many outlets! I even put some High also! Camo Material over the face plate adds to the motif also ....

Another idea for ya...made this round cedar table and embedded a long spring trap in the middle on pebbles. Put epoxy on it so looks like in water.

One more idea and I quit. A cedar stump chair side to set your Grain Belt Premium on. I'm working on a floor to ceiling antler tree like that nice one cat scratch showed but don't seem to be getting it done!

The floor is a basketball court salvaged from an old gym. Lots of fun things to do when you are doing it yourself!

Here's another cedar post at the corner of the bar. No real function, just kind of fun.

I love the trap in the table/epoxy! May have to do something similar... if you don't mind me stealing your ideas.

That table idea is from trappers inn! I loved it too and copied it for our bar top.

Made the plaque to resemble the broadhead I shot the moose with.

I love the old barns as we don't really have them in the west. On a trip to ND, we tore down a barn and hauled it home. I painted OSB black and installed under the barnwood. That way, any cracks in the wood don't show and, I can put my mounts anywhere without having to find a stud.

Here's a couple of photos showing a 60 foot long shooting range and trophy/memory wall. It's aspen tongue and groove with OSB backing so I can hang anything on there at any place.
