Made it back out to the deer country for a few days. We have not had any measurable rain in the last month or so and it's drying up a bit. Saw lots of deer. No giants, but a couple nice bucks. Even the 3x3s seem nice sized this year. Lots of twin fawns too. Will follow this with some pics...
The biggest one. Not the best forks, but good dimensions.
Nice and wide...
Oddball left side on this tall guy.
Lots of fawns.
Looks good. No way I'd pass on that first buck! My scouting trip last week was a total bust. Didn't find any bucks for some reason. Probably just a fluke. Headed back for a day this weekend.
Just my general area...
Nice pictures Jason
Well done with some good looking bucks
Thanks for the pix
Good luck, Robb
Here’s a couple up close and personal.
Made it put again for a couple days. No big guys this time, but a few more decent deer.
This guy looks good, but hard to tell. Definitely pushing the capabilities of my 65mm non-HD swaro from 2+ miles...

There are some dandy bucks. I would take a big muley over an elk any day of the week.
What are they grazing on? Is it scrub oak?
Idyll, yeah. Seemed to be mostly oak. A few were out nibbling in the grasses too.
