I don’t. But to each their own. This one has been asked several times, on here. If you google “Hecs suit bowsite” you will see many past threads.
You asked for opinions. Mine is that the HECS would not be worth the purchase. My opinion is worth exactly what you paid for it however!!!:)
I asked the rep at the P&Y booth why the electromagnetic waves don't shoot out of the uncovered heads of guys who are in their videos. The guy in the video loop walked up to some obviously tame muleys feeding in the open and shot one, with no head covering. Seems to me that brain waves would cause the most alarm if there is anything to this scheme. He didn't really have an answer to my question.
BTW, I don't use a HECS suit and anyone who has followed my live plains hunts has seen lots of photos of muley bucks mere feet away. If I was wearing HECS I could attribute it to that.
If YOU believe it will give you an edge and make you a better hunter....buy it. Nobody else's opinion matters.
Should Sitka or Kuiu camo clothes cost $300- 400 for a pair of pants or coat....no. But people buy it because they believe it`s worth it. It`s called the free market.
In response to your theory, Lou. Is there a possibility that the guys that buy these HECS suits, emit fewer brain waves (in general)?
t-roy .........."BINGO" we have a winner!!!!!
I noticed the divers on shark week were wearing them, wonder if thats where the 'technology' started. The seals definitely knew the divers were there
I believe it is a real possibility it would work. It is widely known that this technology works and sharks and also there is a lot of information that it is effective on birds.
Wait to you see what D.E.W and 5G are capable of doing.
There is a reason why the tech engineers and owners don`t allow their kids to use their products.
Just read the science. It will show it does not work on mammals. Shawn
Buckey, it started during a conversation between Mike Slinkard and Randy Ulmer one night where Ulmer said he never stalks closer than about 40 yards (iirc) to Mule Deer bucks because they always figured out he was there, regardless of wind direction, etc. I believe that conversation is where the "6th sense" phrase was initially used.
Forget the electromagnetic waves, just hunt!
The physics is pretty clear. Electromagnetic fields decrease by the inverse square law.
Your already weak electromagnetic field at two feet is 1/4 as strong. At four feet it’s 1/16 at ten feet it’s 1/100.
At twenty yards, sixty feet, it’s 1/3600
I’d skip it... but then again, I do some maintenance with baby wipes when on backcountry hunts. It’s the wind that matters, but I feel sneakier when my own stank isn’t obvious to me.
Some guys set their watch five minutes fast.
Sack and a stick! U must pair it with an ozonics to get full effect. These r so effective I expect they will soon be outlawed
I wish she would JTV.....maybe she would "disappear".

The HECS suit is based on science, as it acts like a Faraday Shield or Cage.
. . . .
. . . .
I have not a clue if it works on mammals.
I have used a Faraday Smock during manufacturing on Electronic Warfare Production Lines, NASA Space Payload production lines, etc., to block electrostatic discharge from damaging Integrated Circuits, etc. The static electric fields are measurable, and you can see the difference when wearing a Faraday (ESD) Smock, and not.
It is used to block Static Electricity from your body and clothing, combined with foot straps and wrist straps.
I have a friend in Pennsylvania that swears by HECS Suits. But he also killed lots of critters without them.
My $0.02 worth.
What was Fred Bear wearing?
T-Roy ^^^*^
Based on the above comments I would have two questions:
1) has electromagnetic field ever been measured at 10 yards to compare the output of a person both with and without a suit?
2) has there ever been scientific testing to prove that a deer is actually picking up and reacting to electromagnetic signals?
Well if you, watch the commercial when the game animals appear and they show a hunter just yards away, don't look at the animal , look at the vegetation. The hunters are all down wind and not moving, with the exception of the turkey hunter, he's crawling upto a sexed crazed tom over a decoy. Now, I watched a few shows this past week or should I say shark week and the divers had HECS printed on their wet suits. However, while diving with sharks the Sharks came right into the divers and they had to push them away with cameras and sticks, so much for the hecs suit working. If you want to spend 300 or so of your dollars on a gimmick , by all means do so and let us know how it works, but, I could think of a lot of other equipment I could waste 300 bucks on, like a ozonics lol.

"However, while diving with sharks the Sharks came right into the divers and they had to push them away with cameras and sticks, so much for the hecs suit working."
Wouldn't that mean the hecs WAS working?
I am one of the dumb a$$es that bought the crap. An outfitter friend swore by it. Totally worthless and I wore head to toe. Deer pick me out of trees as much as ever.
Does the earths magnetic current mean we have to stay "down electrical field" from game so they wont pick us off? Maybe it's like carbon clothes, and it works a lot better if you are downwind from the deer, elk, etc...
:)
No, I dont think it's worth it.
Gimmic and the Slinky is paying to have his logo on those shark week suits. His shows are just stupid infomercials like 30 minutes of slapchops and shamwows!
Does it come with a free Acorn Cruncher?
Bowsniper,

Electromagnetic fields are not the same as Electrostatic Fields. Two different entities. Electromagnetic fields are most commonly Radio Frequency (FM Radio, AM Radio, RADAR, etc.) Electrostatic is a static voltage potential, with no frequency element.
The only non-contact Electrostatic Meters that I ever saw used had to be within inches of the surface you wanted tested. All other Electrostatic Meters I have used and seen used had to be touching the surface of what you wanted to measure.
I am unaware of any distance testing with electrostatic voltages.
I am unaware if a human body emits Radio Frequency waves, but well aware of static electricity build up and discharge (Walking across the carpet in wool socks then touching your siblings and shocking them)
Rock and roll Ground Hunter. Sounds like a good deal. I'm not a believer from the outside... But it will be interesting to see how your season shakes out and what your observations are.
Slapchop lol shamwowst work. Acorn cruncher lol
Mike, please do keep us posted on the results. I'm a firm believer in. Nose Jammer and don't understand how that works, either. And I'm generally a skeptic about all that stuff.
BTW, your SPOT is in the mail. Should see it in a couple days.
Yes it is worth it. Do a write up when you buy one please
