I name my favorite elk hunting areas, but as far as camp goes, I'm with hoyt...it's called elk camp.
My wife dubbed ours “New Town “ years ago. Due to all the stuff we used to buy and take along. Had a forest service worker tell us once. “If you guys don’t have it...neither does Cabelas!”
Elk camp has always been Elk Camp. But we made a blind many years ago at a major trail intersection, out of fallen lodge pole, that was a great place to take a break during the day without going all the way back to camp, or to meet up with others while still hunting. We called it Fort Wapiti.
Home for 14 days,,,, or until I kill an elk. Whichever comes first.
Usually an Indian name “Lacka Elka”
Not out here, but deer camp back home was Camp Just One More. Lot of Busch light in the UP.
I know where that cabin is at kadbow. I know where some elk are at not far from that cabin too ;)
No sir I haven't! I've thought about it but never went through picking a name. I love Elk Camp though, there's nothing that can compare to it for us!

Don't have an elk camp, but deer camp is named Camp Wild at Heart.
Grasshopper and Piggy Pigggy are the names of my 2 main buffalo camps!
Camp "Dirt Nap" was the only year we jokingly put a name to our annual two week archery/rifle deer hunt in 2017. It was a joke that all 7 of us shared at 5 am in the morning, standing in the dark 13 degree weather, taking a break from our hike to get deep into the largest, unroaded area in WV. We all knew it was a joke because this is wilderness hunting. Where deer density equals gold nugget numbers in your local creek. History had proven that for decades. Yet, by 12 noon on day one, all seven of us had killed a deer that year. It was pretty cool. We aren't tied up in romance. We just hunt. But, that naming thing worked pretty good......
So cool, that we relived it the same way last year. 2 hours before daylight, cooling off in the dark from a portion of the hike, we decided as a group to rename this year, "The year of the Dirt Nap relived". We killed one deer in 14 days. So, it was agreed upon last evening of the hunt in 2018, that the naming of camp was to be a short, two year tradition.
Whatever state I am hunting----->
