I used to embrace the suck, now I curse it every single step! This is the only time I've embraced it in many years. I Thank God every day that a friend decided to stop by camp on his way over to the Sierra Madres for the first time in 25 yrs...with my new best friends, Moon and Blue!!!

My nickname has become 'sherpa pete' these days. Seems to be the only thing in the hunting world I'm good at besides the occasional decent elk video :)

This is my buddy from Cheyenne carrying my bull. Glad he did it didn’t seem Like fun. He also had his bow and another 6x6 ran up to him at 40 yards.

The point at where it started not to suck....I agree with SBH. If everyday sucked like this one, I too would be a happy man. One month from today my crew and I should be back at it again.
