Looking for ideas for super fast access to rangefinder. The rangefinder pouches that come w/ the bino harnesses I don't consider fast access. I was even thinking of something magnetic like golfers use? Looking for suggestions.

I put the strap around my neck and put my right arm through the strap. The rangefinder hangs on my right side, out of the way but easily accessible

I use the attached lanyard that typically comes with the bino. Tie around lower strap of the bino harness then stick it in my pocket. The best part of this is in crunch time you can range the animal and drop your rangefinder because it is tied to the harness. Can't take credit for this as think I saw something years ago where this is how Cameron Hanes attached his. This has worked better than all the other attachments out there for me.

I use a Curly shoe lace from Walmart for my tether. Pouch is attached to my bono harness and I don’t latch it

I use a buckle similar but smaller version of the buckle on a pack. Zip tie one end to range funder and the other to bino harness. It's easy to unbuckled if you want to remove and thus far has been secure. I will try to post a picture tonight if you are interested.

Dan, I'd be very interested in a pic. If it's easier, you can text it to me. 785-545-6593

I just use a piece of para cord looped over my left shoulder so the rangefinder hangs under my right arm. Simple but it works.

i use the range snap. they are out of business but you can google the set up and make one yourself if you have an elastic bino harness it works awesome.

I use one of these (https://www.theclip.com/store/the-original-belt-clip-black.html) with a tether on the range finder so I can just let it drop after ranging.

Clip.com... I double sided tapped it to range finder. Then attached the Nikon plastic two part clip to a small length of bungee... and attach it to the harness... if ya do a search you’ll see more photos... it really works great

The little black plastic clip is what I used. It’s super quiet and versatile...

I've used the same as Shug and also the KUIU rangefinder attachment.

Sivart, here is what I've been using. I can hook my release to my D loop and continue to range an animal as it approaches then drop the rangefinder and draw when the moment is right. I would say the only negative is it can get twisted when putting the binos on and off. It's easy to remove the rangefinder if I don't need it.

Check out Rick Young's website for bino accessories. https://rickyoungoutdoors.com Good products. He has a clip similar to the one in pic from Shug.

I attach my binos with the clips. For attaching my rangefinder.... i simply loop rangefinder strap around bottom strap of bino harness.

I am in the middle of developing a pouch for a rangefinder that will attach to the right shoulder strap of the bino harness. its will be a game changer. It will give easy quiet quick access with one hand, and be able to retain the rangefinder in place when needed so it isnt flopping around as you walk, all with one hand!!! Ill post pics once its completed! Stay tuned!

I just use a loop of cord that goes around my neck (just big enough to fit over my head. Faster to access, easier to drop, by far the simplest and fastest, but few guys seem to like it (not techy enough I suppose). The only downside is that it can flop if you are running or leaning, but easy enough to slide the RF under the chest strap on the bino harness.
The Rick Young stretchy stuff would be even better, 2.0.

Hangs this way on my bino harness so the rain and snow doesn’t hit it.
Ok, the pic is upside down and this site only allows you to rotate the first pic

I did exactly as Shug suggested and bought a ten pack of clips on Amazon for about $12. I bent the clip over a warmed up pipe to fit better. Gorilla Instant Gel and it’s been on through rain, snow and freezing cold.

Slide it onto the right side of my Bino harness. If I’m im grizz country when I’m packing a pistol I place it on the left side.

I designed and 3D printed a holder for mine and riveted it to the top of my S4 harness. Clean, simple.

I struggled with this forever and finally gave up, gave in, bucked up and bought a pair of Leica Geovid’s.
