Just returned home from our 2019 antelope hunt with Pronghorn Paridise, and things could not have gone any better, my son Ryan and i got to share camp with two awesome people Kia and Justin, , Blinds were set up in perfect locations from Bob and Helen. blind setups had alot of thought put into them and nice. This is a blind hunt you are dropped off in the dark and picked up in the dark, unless you have an antelope down. We saw multiple bucks per hour at each setup, we went 4 for 4 in two days. Thank you Bob and Helen for a great hunt and to be a sponsor on Bowsite.

Great pics ZK! Such a pleasure to hunt with you guys. As Kia said on the way home “Bowsiters are just the best people aren’t they?” Good luck in Africa!

That sounds like an awesome hunt!!! Congratulations. I’m sitting in an antelope blind in western sodak as I type this. Sat dark to dark the last two days and have three more hours today. I’ve seen antelope in the distance and had several approach the blind and at about 100 or so yards, they stop, stare at the blind a few minutes and turn and walk away. The blinds were put up the day before the hunt started and the antelope want nothing to do with them. I’m on a four day hunt but am throwing in the towel at dark today, a day early. Forty five hours in blinds with nothing remotely close is enough for me. I’ve been on three other antelope hunts with other people, and killed on the first or second day, after passing several. This hunt, if you can call it that, really blows.

Dale, gonna be hot here in SoDak tomorrow. They’ll get thirsty. You can’t kill them at home. Try to hang in there, it might happen, it might not, but at least you gave her 100% the whole hunt. Good luck!

Brotsky, Appreciate the support and comments. The guide if you call him that has the blinds set up at fence crossings to and from some large alfalfa fields. I’ve had good success with that in past, but blinds had been out for weeks. No water blinds here. He said there is water every where so they can drink at lots of places. I’d have to find a spot in the dark tonite and put up a blind in the dark in country I’m not familiar with. Again, thanks but I’ve got a sore ass figuratively and literally. So I’m done.

That is a tough situation Dale. Don’t blame you for being frustrated!

Dale I don’t know you from Adam. I totally get your frustration. Don’t give up though! If your in a blind, you have a chance. Lots of guys would love to have tomorrow to have a chance. Make the most of it and try to enjoy the process regardless of what shows up. That’s hunting sometimes ya know? Good luck to you sir! I hope tomorrow we see a pic with you and a dead speedgoat!
