5 compounds(currently using Hoyt RX 1 Ultra), and an old Ben Pearson recurve acquired this past Spring that I'm learning to shoot.
4 compounds, one recurve. 5 total. The most recent purchase was in 2017, the others are pretty old (bought from Bigdan, while he had an archery store, so they have been around a while). This year I'm using one of the older bows a Jennings G2 from 2003. It seems like there were some big improvements in bows in the 80's, and 90's, but not really much since then.
2 - my PSE Evo 7, and my old Bear Kodiak recurve.
1 that I shoot. I also have my old darton and three youth compounds. Lol

I have 2 compounds 4 recurves 1 longbow and 2 selfbows I made jeez
1 Prime Alloy and 1 Prime Centergy. Daughter has 2 small youth bows.
10 or so 4 are the same exact bow... set up to grab anyone of them when needed
11or 12 longbows , 14 recurves
5 recurves, 1 compound. A few other odd bows the kids shoot that really are not mine.
2 fully setup compounds, identical in every way. 2 fully setup recurves, identical in every way aside from the wood they are made from. A garage wall full of older bows that provide memories every time I look at them.
3 for me, 2 compounds and a recurve. my wife has 2 compounds as well.
Between 40 and 50. Mostly recurves, a couple long bows and 1 compound. 2 recurves are used regularly a couple more occasionally for bow fishing and the rest I have just because I can.
I have 2 & 2...but look at this pic of Rick Embry's closet!
2 compounds and 2 recurves. I'm REALLY attracted to recurves, but I can't shoot them for *&(^
Two, an Elite Synergy and a Red Wing Hunter. If something doesn’t change, that’s two too many.....
7 compounds....3 longbows....4 recurves.
Using a Elite Z28 this elk season.
(6)... 4 recurves, 1 osage selfbow and 1 compound. My wife has 2 (compound and recurve)... take a look at this... it's a photo of Kyle Adams when he was a toddler.
5 compounds, left and right handed depending on shoulder. First predator taken to Alaska in 89. Many since. Chastain that I hunted with in the late 80s. Pretty big pile of bears. And now a bunch of kids bows to outfit my grandkids when they need them
Last time I counted a couple years ago it was 26 and now 29.
^^^^Now that’s funny right there, Rick. I don’t care who ya are!!!
Any truth to the rumor that SitO invented the “cornhole” game??
3 compounds and 1 recurve.
1 compound and 3 longbows. A Dwyer defiant, a dwyer endeavor and a centaur chimera.
6 shouldn't need to buy anymore.
17-1 compound,1 longbow,15 recurves
Probably 60 recurves/ longbows. 4 good modern compounds, 4 others. I am thinning the herd slowly. You can only shoot one at a time.
I’m a minimalist - only 3 recurves and 3 LBs at #47, #50, #55, #55, #55 and about #62...
Two One old recurve from my childhood and one newer recurve. Both have killed many deer. I borrow my son's compound bow once in a while, for it is fun to shoot
35-40 haven't counted in a while.
Recurves: 2 bear; 3 Chastain's; 2 Cleland Stick Bows; Compounds 2 bow tech's Paul Cleland's Stick bow's are my fav. right now but Keith's bow is the one I killed all 8 in Colorado with. lets go dove hunting soon Y 'all !
Jack, my GSH LOCKED UP ON QUAIL.
I was thinking 1, but I actually have kept the bow I shot my first deer with, a Pearson Renegade. So technically 2... My wife has 2 as well, her current hunting bow and the first bow she shot a deer with.
I have three primary bows. Two for travel hunting and one that I leave at my cabin for whitetail hunting. Still have a couple older bows that I'm going to setup for bowfishing. Then a few kids bows and the wifes.
Fuzzy, I just realized that you have more bows than arrows... ;)
About 45 or so recurves, and a Mathews Z-9.
3. A recurve and 2 compounds.
So far Blakes wins I think!
I have 4 recurves, 1 longbow and 4 compounds....
4 compounds 4 recurves 6 longbows/hybrids
Ive sold a few this year
Without compiling the answers so far I'd bet that 'traditional' archers own a pile more than compound-only shooters. Myself, all recurves - PSE, Bear, Wing, Martin, Howatt (2), Morrison, and why do I feel like I'm missing a few? ;-)
23 traditional, 0 wheelie, 0 cross
1) Matthews FX2. Its about time for an upgrade
2 - Hoyt RX1 and Hoyt Helix
"Was" about 200+, but after my 'stroke' I scaled down and now have maybe 15 .... But I Quit Hunting even though I'm still able! I lived 'the bow & arrow' since age 5, but now at 70 I have No Regrets quitting.
One compound, a Diamond Black Ice, a few longbows and a number of recurves.
Fuzzy, I just realized that you have more bows than arrows... ;)
- That is freakin' hilarious, Scott.
Randy, Had to be on Kodiak last fall to fully understand it, but I figured one of you guys would see it... Fun time up there!
Did my wife register here and steal Bou'bound's handle?
5 bows. But a lot more guns
1 bow. I sold my identical back up bow to a friend. This old D350 still shoots lights out. Can't justify $1500 to keep up with the Joneses when this thing is so deadly ;)
2 Xpeditions, one target, one hunting. 2 bowfishing bows 4 recurve/long bows 4 kids bows
Or as the wife says, too many.
3 compounds, 3 recurves, 1 longbow
Two compounds - 1 primary and 1 backup. IMO bows are tools, not things to collect. When I'm done with a bow I hand it down to a friend or donate it.
lmao, Scott yeah you're right. LOL
Elite Pure (Compound), and a Samick Sage Takedown Recurve.
2, recurve and longbow. Gave my compound away a few years ago.

In the 60s & 70s I owned over 200 Stickbows & Compounds-I owned a shop/lanes nearly 20 years.
