Just started baiting for my wife in Minnesota. How are the baits going for everyone else? Good luck. Got this little guy in cool little bear

What kind of bait do you use for your wife. I used to use shoes but then found nordstrom gift cards are much better.

Damn I have to think more clearly when I write. The best thing I have found for her is a couple of screwdrivers and a little XXX I gotta her right where I want her.

Our baits are getting hit but mainly sows with cubs and small bears. No pics of anything big yet. Hopefully this week they turn on!!

Ok, I don't bait bears (not legal in BC), but is that an actual stump or log you have chained up there? How long does it last? Pretty cool anyway!

Thanks spike yes it was a tree that got struck by lighting and burned from the inside out. It holds a lot of bait it’s working great

I have to hand it to Spike and all the other outfitters it’s not easy. You better bring a chainsaw just getting to you baits can be difficult. This mourning had to cut my way threw. Then bait two my wife says here comes a bear she was right 25 yds. I yelled hay bear time to go he stood his ground didn’t move not a big bear but still made us nervous. He was between us and the pickup we went around him and got back. Evidently that is his be evidently that is his bait and he wasn’t leaving needless to say that site never got rebated. My wife’s been shooting her bow all summer but now she’s having second thoughts!!!

No bear pics yet, I had a camera on one of 4 baits and it wasn’t working. As of yesterday all baits are active and things should continue to improve here daily. I had to wait for this guy to cross the road Saturday, I wonder if he’s available for bear extraction?

Our area was dry no berry crop bears are thin. We had the three legged sow come in for the seventh year no cubs this year

It was pretty rainy dreary day here so the traffic was limited. My son got a nice dry sow dressed 225 , his first bear. He opted for the rifle this time.
