So I just wanted to share my trip of a lifetime. I just returned from a 7 day hunt in South Africa. It was a bow only hunt around 5 hours north of Johannesburg. We hunted with Harry Nell, Owner of African Arrow Safaris! Words cannot begin to explain how amazing this trip was. So we arrived the first night around 1am, and we were to excited to sleep. All four of us sat up getting gear ready and talking about what we thought the first morning would have in store for us. We had no idea. So sun comes up and we shoot our bows and get placed with our PH for the week. My PH's name was Johan and he was superb! Four of us hunted for 7 days and we took 28 animals in this time. We all had dream animals in mind we hoped we would get an opportunity at them at some point. Mine was Eland, two buddies were Kudu and the other buddy a Sable. First day did not disappoint as I connected with my eland first morning. Not only was he my dream animal, but he is the eland of a lifetime. I was also able to kill a blue and golden wildebeest, nyala, gemsbok, impala and wharthog. My friends shot kudu, zebra, black and blue wildebeest, nyala, steenbok, gemsbok, waterbuck, impala, wharthog and sable. The hunting was spectacular and the hospitality, food, lodging, over all experience was the same. We couldn't get over how amazing every aspect of the trip was. The guides took all of our wants into account and did whatever they could to make sure they were fulfilled. No one came home wanting anything more from the trip except wishing it wasn't over. We are already planning for another trip. African Arrow Safaris not only have quantity but due to there strict management, their quality is above all!! Harry not only wants you to kill, but he wants you to kill trophies! They work hard to get you the biggest of each species you are after! If you are on the fence about hunting Africa and wondering how or where to go, I would highly suggest African Arrow Safaris. Message me with any questions.

Wow Justin!!! Those are some very impressive trophies. Usually, only see one or two high scoring animals from a single trip, but yours are all very impressive - especially the Eland and Nyala - what was the length of each of those?

Congratulations on a wonderful and completely satisfying trip. There’s not much else in the hunting world that approaches the pampering of an African Safari. The bad news is now it’s gonna cost you, as you’ll do it again for certain.

Remember to fully enjoy every one of life’s little victories.

Haven't gotten the exact measurements yet, should get them in the next couple days. But they are saying over 40" and possibly top 5 with a bow. All I know he is all I could of ever asked for!!

Congratulations on taking a lot of VERY nice sized trophies. That Eland is just huge! I can't imagine going to Africa and bowhunting for only 7 days, though. That would go by way too fast! I always plan on at least 10 days to make it worth the flight.

Ok, Now that was one hell of a trip! You took amazing trophies of each species and no doubt that Eland will be near the top. I can only imagine that when you go next time it will be very hard to top this one. Congrats on some really great trophies. You may need to take out a loan for the taxidermy!
