Nick's sheep photo just caught my eye. What a beauty - both the ram and the photo! Makes me want to head up to the mountains. Congrats.
One of the best trophy photos I've seen. Beautiful sheep and the setting is breath taking. If someone better looking than Nick had been in there it would have been a framer! Ha!
Awesome all the way around
Beautiful Ram, beautiful Photo!
Way to go, Nick!
Beautiful...(not Nick), but the ram, the photo...breath taking.
So rare to see a dead Dall's pic without blood all over the white coat. Fantastic photo! That backdrop...wow.
Don't badmouth Nick too much- those of you who have met him know he's a pretty decent guy. He and Stefanie are responsible for putting bows in my kids' hands- I mean they literally gave my kids the bows they still are using to shoot deer with. I won't get mushy or anything- but Nick's mug doesn't hurt that pic in my or my kids' eyes. Congrats, Nick!
Now THAT is what a trophy shot looks like!
Truly a great trophy photo! Congrats Nick!
Wow! great ram and photo!
Great work and a great ram! Congrats
That is how it is done. Congratulations Nick!

He’s a great guy. Never personally met him but he’s helped me plan an upcoming trip.
He needs to submit that to the Wild Sheep Foundation photo contest. See link.

"I don't understand why he ever left WI."
Lactose intolerance?
Incredible picture, congrats.
Thanks for the kind words, folks! My friend Jon and I had a great time in the Alaska Range hunting sheep this year. We saw some incredible rams and scenery along the way. Hunting glaciers is something I've never done before and through getting our asses handed to us by the sheep on a daily basis, learned a lot about what NOT to do! I am not sure I can think of a more challenging and rewarding hunt. My big toes are still numb, quads are on fire and the desire to go back won't return for at least another week :)
Nick-
Great Ram, fantastic pic!! Congrats!!
Perfection. I wish more hunters would take the time to get quality photos, showing an equal amount of the animal, terrain and hunter.
Spectacular in all regards. Congrats
Gorgeous photo, and congrats Nick. Y’all say what you want but this is still my favourite pic of Nick’s. It seems to tell the tale of of a sheep hunter, from what I’d Imagine. Way to go buddy
Fantastic !! Living the dream of all those who love to hunt.
What a fantastic picture!! Congrats on the ram!!
Matt, that was a miserable, wet, and cold hunt! We camped on that ram for 5 days waiting for the perfect conditions to go get him.
Here's the 2019 photo that Pat posted about.

Beautiful photo, congrats to Nick...
Awesome picture Nick, I noticed your having quite the year, 5 animals down! Wow
It’s not that hard getting a pic of a white sheep with no blood on it. The trick is to use a Rage and just get a pic on the opposite side. Ha had to say it. Congrats Nick!
Wow. Well done!! Speaking of well done, tell me that you have a photo of some back straps cooking on a flat rock back at your camp....better yet, insert that photo here......
Incredible all around! Congrats Nick!

Still awesome 4 months later! Best trophy photo I’ve seen. Congrats again Nick! Well deserved!
45 yards Rick, got really lucky after a sketchy stalk and popped up on him and 4 others feeding on a bluff just a 100 ft above the glacier.
Damn, would've been a chip shot with your bow. Again, great pic!
Wonder if you hunted out of Wood River Lodge originally built by Lynn Castle. A beautiful, game rich area. Congratulations on a beautiful ram.
Now that is a perfect picture wow
Gator, same mountain range, just a long ways from the Wood. Delta Control Use Area.
