Score Me
Score Me
I don’t really care about scores, I’m mainly curious if this is 150? Or maybe a bit less..?

Nope

Not even close.

Nice buck, but I don't think he'll make 150. He's not going to have as much mass as you think once the velvet comes off. Good frame and decent tine length, just not enough inches to hit 150.

No way.

Using the Charlie Rehor method for 10 points ( which I believe to be highly accurate), I’d say he’ll be low 130s. Nice buck!

Why? If he "trips your trigger" kill'm!

If you ask here then you've already decided...and that's just silly

It’s mostly out of sheer curiosity, if he walked by he’d be catching an arrow and I wouldn’t think twice.

may go 150 pounds but not inches

Upper teens. Just wait until that velvet comes off. He will look like a different animal.

The thread title should read ....”Is this buck 120 ?”...........

Then it would be debatable.

That being said..... The buck looks to be still growing and could end up close to P&Y.

no

Ok so obviously, I have not scored any deer in my life.. guess I have a lot to learn.

No worries, put a tape on some racks you can get ahold of and practice measuring. Nt that difficult to estimate once you have done a few.

Don’t worry about the score. When you shoot it if your unhappy you can say “ I couldn’t be happier” or “ look at the body” or “ he is at least 7 years old”. These are the things the heroes on TV do when they experience ground shrinkage

Don't worry about not knowing how to score deer. ALL of the experts on here used to be just like you. Everybody has a starting point on all knowledge Like one poster said score some racks and you will get better and better at it. Good luck !!

It’s a nice buck. Shoot it.

04-Sep-19
Like I said earlier, this would be the biggest deer I’ve ever killed and it’s not close. He’ll catch an arrow if I can fling one his way.

From: Hancock West

by the time it loses its velvet, it'll be 110-120.

Eye guards and G3's have to be longer for 150" as well as a few more inches on the G2's and G3's .....

04-Sep-19
120 range for sure

Only if one of my son’s friends misses it, then it’s a 150. All the bucks he misses have bases like coke cans ! :-)

Two of these and at least a 16" spread equals 150"
