Looks to me like he's getting his winter coat. I have many pics of blotchy coats just like that. I'm looking at this on my phone, so maybe I cant see everything.

He said they have 5 deer on camera with that marking. The one pictured is the worst.

Really? Looks like he is transitiong to his Winter coat, which happens every year to every deer.
