Is there any updates if the change went through on when people would be notified if they were successful in the drawings?

Just to clarify, you are asking if we apply in Jan and find out in June right?

Change period ends may 8, nr results within two weeks. The outfitters spokesman was adamant that results be before the antelope deadline. Said it would raise revenue because the unsuccessful would then apply for antelope and deer.

Lovely that the entire timing of the system is driven by what will make the most money for outfitters.

Um.... I don’t see me switching from elk to antelope! If I can’t find partners with the points I need to draw elk I’ll burn my deer points. After that it’ll be elk in Montana.

I can see myself opting out years that my only chance at tag is in the random draw. That too bad because i don't recall missing a an elk draw in WY.

Nr elk app jan1-31; change until May 8, results within 2 weeks after the change date.
Nr deer and antelope, no changes.

Not trying to hijack the thread but can two people apply as a group and one pay the cheap fee and the other pay the higher fee and draw in their respective categories?
