Just thought I would share my Wyoming Bighorn that I killed on Friday. Had a great hunt in Area 1. This Ram completed Grand Slam and I’m only 3 species short of my Super Slam. This ram makes 14 rifle kills and 12 archery.

Just an FYI, I was not supposed to hunt until October and I received a call from my guide asking if I could come early, so I booked a flight that left in 2 days. I wrapped up as many loose ends at work as possible, cancelled my umbilical hernia surgery that was supposed to be on Thursday, called my orthopedic surgeon and ran in so he could give me a shot of steroids and cortisone in my knee, then jumped on a flight Thursday morning. I flew into Denver, changed planes and onto Cody where I was met by my guides wife and we drove a little over an hour to the trailhead, jumped on a horse for another 4 hours and set up camp. We located the sheep on Friday in a torrential thunderstorm, climbed to the top and killed him at 5:30, we got back to camp at 2:00 am and I flew home on Sunday.

Not much rest on that hunt but he's a good looking ram so well done. Good luck with the knee and the surgery.

I don't know how your hernia is doing, but I think I just got one reading your schedule. That's crazy. Way to get it done. Well done.
