Is there any benefit or downside to a cable silencer being used. Just the small rubber piece inserted into cable

I see a lot of guys using them but have never tried it. I cant imagine it would hurt

I would tie a big cat whisker above that aluminum barrel on your RX-1. In my opinion, that is where all of the noise and vibe comes from that bow.

It helps no doubt. Not the same as a string silencer though

Benefit is a quieter bow, downside is a louder bow.
