Ya shoot the doe, let her run off a ways and die than sit tight and wait for a buck. Early like this with the acorns dropping rarely messes things up to shoot the first deer in! Shawn

Life is a wonderful adventure plagued by compromises. Good for you Travis. Way to go controlling your hunter impulses. I am in the same situation waiting on Mr. 10 points and passing on every doe in range. The first sit 3 does walked in early morning. I had to really make a serious effort to stop the itch to launch an arrow. Every muscle in my body was shaking loaded with adrenaline. It was not a fun sit but I managed. I had to constantly remind myself of the freezer full of meat at home.
